"Née les pieds dans l'Océan, en Bretagne dans le Morbihan, je tombe très jeune, amoureuse de la Mer Méditerranée à Capri, à Paros et à Bonifacio. En 2003, Marseille m'attrape dans ses bras bleus, m'enveloppe et me console pendant dix ans.
En 2007, je suis la première lauréate en Arts Graphiques de la Biennale des Jeunes Créateurs d’Europe et de la Méditerranée et j'expose à Bari, en Italie. Je quitte ma Mère Massilia à contre coeur en 2013. Dès lors, une certaine mélancolie m'habite. L'immensité bleue, la lumière blanche, les reflets qui scintillent au loin, la douceur, les cris, la chaleur, le souffle, le bazar, tout me manque, m'obsède et m'inspire. En 2021, j'installe La Bise des Lionnes à Larmor-Plage dans le Morbihan où je renoue avec cet Amour fou pour la mer."

The Origins
Unusual, absurd, confusing, the name of the brand strikes people and tells a story. Founded by Émilie Le Strat in 2020, La Bise des Lionnes is born from an anagram of the letters of the first names of her daughters, Elisa and Bonnie.
"I like the expression - You have the kiss of ... - especially at this time when we can no longer kiss each other. We need to remember the intimate, the touch, the embrace. is a gesture, a typically French movement for which we already feel a lot of nostalgia.
Lionesses are my daughters. They animate all my choices, they breathe all the energy into the creation and evolution of the brand. They are little girls and women in the making. The lioness is a feminine symbol of strength, mixed with tenderness. We are all lionesses, this endangered animal, maternal, gentle and yet so strong and uncompromising when it comes to self-defense. "

The Founder
With a degree in Performing Arts, Cultural Mediation and Graphic Design, Émilie Le Strat has diversified her experience in the fields of communication and creation for 20 years. Public relations attaché for theater festivals between Paris and Avignon, Artistic Director in graphic design and illustration in Marseille, Communication & Events Manager in the banking sector in Rennes and Bordeaux.
